Ain't No Thing Chicken Wing Dinner

IMG_2488.jpeg

This recipe is so easy, I made it tonight with a baby on my hip (true story). Because sometimes you just need dinner to be simple, so you can concentrate on more important (insert teething toddler) things.

Ingredients:

-about 3 pounds chicken wings

-3/4 teaspoon salt

-1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper

-1 teaspoon paprika

-1 teaspoon garlic powder

-1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Method:

-Everybody in the slow cooker

-Cook on low for 4 hours

-Place on foiled sheet pan

-Preheat oven to 400

-Mix 1 cup Franks Red Hot Sauce and 1 Cup lightly packed brown sugar on low heat until combined. (This makes a lot of sauce, which I then use for other recipes - if you’re only using for wings, do 1/2 cup and 1/2 cup)

-Baste chicken wings

-Roast wings until slightly crispy

-Base once more before serving - serve small ramekin of sauce on side for dipping
