The Firecracker

Happy Fourth of July Everybody!

In Colorado, fireworks have been banned - but that doesn’t stop us from hosting some in our very own cul de sac! This gave me a chance to enjoy the ‘fireworks’ of my child hood: worms, rockets, etc.

Of course we have watermelon in the house since it’s July and this morning I blended a bunch of it to make fresh juice. Allow me to introduce you to the life of the party, The Firecracker: Watermelon Habanero Cocktail!

I used a rocks glass for this:

-2 ounces vodka

-Fresh watermelon juice

-Dash of Monin Habanero concentrate

-Float of Watermelon flavor La Croix water
