Go on, getcha’ self one!

‘Bench scraper’ sometimes called ‘pastry scraper’ or ‘dough scraper’ - usually used to divide dough into portions and pulling it away from the counter. However, it’s not just for bakers, and I find it to be an indispensable tool in the kitchen!

-lift veggies or fruit from cutting board to pan or pot instead of your knife! It’s faster, safer, and saves wear on the knife!

-level dry ingredients!

-cut up brownies, bar cookies, granita! 

-cube butter!

-smooth frosting!

-scrape down a cutting board before washing it!

-most are dishwasher safe!

-some have rulers on them so you can measure thickness of rolled doughs, or that brunoise cut you’re working on perfecting
