What Does The Fox Say? Happy Birthday!

How is my sweet, beautiful babe already one? Everyone told me how fast time flies by but man, does it. In my ‘nesting’ phase, I decided to paint Avery’s nursery wall with aspen trees - and so, what followed was a woodland theme. Foxes, bunnies, porcupines, deer - so, so cute.

To celebrate year one, I made a fox cake with applesauce, sweet potato and banana - and lightly sugared buttercream. Small rosettes and fondant accents.
